Annual Meeting and Luncheon

The Annual Meeting is a celebration of the support that the Coalition’s membership provides to older adults in North Carolina. It brings together approximately 150 leaders from all aging industries to enjoy a keynote speaker highlighting aging issues. It is a reflection on the past year and a discussion about the future.

The 2021 NC Coalition on Aging Annual Meeting and Luncheon will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the NC State University Club.  This year’s event will be hybrid!  Participants have the flexibility to enjoy the event in-person with colleagues or virtually.

The featured speaker is Dr. Robyn I. Stone.  Dr. Stone is a noted researcher and leading authority on aging and long-term policy. She is currently is the Senior Vice President of Research, LeadingAge and Co-Director, LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston. The title of her presentation is Better Jobs Better Care: Professionalizing the Long Term Services and Supports Workforce.

The 2021 Pioneer Award recipients will be recognized as part of the event.
